Investment news: meet VREY

Meet VREY, our latest investment, and we are happy to be leading their Seed round. Solar is scaling fast across Europe, and the next frontier is multi-family buildings. Despite nearly 30% of Europeans sharing their roofs, very few of those roofs carry solar. 

VREY is the Berlin-based team changing that. They provide a “business-in-a-box” to landlords and home-owner-associations, with all the tools (meters, software, billing) they need to become a “partial energy supplier” to their tenants or members.  

VREY creates genuine triple win: property owners earn extra income, tenants lower their energy bill, and carbon emissions in residential power supply come down. On top of that, the platform supports batteries, heat pumps and EV charging, turning each building into a smarter energy system, further bringing down emissions and costs.
