Taxi Electric (Alumni)
Taxi electric was the first 100% EV taxi-service in Europe. The company was founded in 2011 by Ruud Zandvliet and Edvard Hendriksen, two ambitious and passionate entrepreneurs whose mission is to make the taxi market more sustainable. They offer electric taxi services to boost demand for electric transportation and create new jobs for long term unemployed at the same time.
Change the system
Taxi Electric improved the air quality in highly polluted cities by decreasing GHG emissions. It also employed long term unemployed elderly people with a distance to the labour market as taxi drivers.
