Meet our new General Partner: Tijl Hoefnagels

Five years ago, Tijl Hoefnagels joined Rubio as Venture Partner. As of this year, Tijl joined as General Partner, to support Rubio in its next stage of growth. 

Tijl has been a driving force behind some of our most exciting investments in the food & ag portfolio of Rubio, backing founders who are radically changing our foodsystem for the better. From Arborea and Mosa Meat to SOLASTA® Bio, Novameat and NoPalm Ingredients, his track record speaks for itself.

What makes Tijl’s approach distinct is the way he shows up, for founders, for his colleagues, and for the bigger mission. Not at a distance, but up close and personal as a (qualified) coach fully committed to helping people realize their ambitions.

And he has more ‘hidden’ creative talents Tijl has the gift to take the most complex topics and create a compelling (and funny) visual that tells its story, and he is definitely in the top 3 of best dressed at the Rubio costume parties.
