Rable is going to France!

Vive la France! Our portfolio partner RABLE secured the ETN certification for France, bringing its proprietary technology to the French market to accelerate the French rooftop revolution.

In France, strict regulations often exclude structurally limited commercial rooftops from hosting solar panels. But that’s about to change. Rable’s ballast free mounting system shifts the load from the roof surface to the structural beams, allowing panels to be installed without roof reinforcement.

Driven by strong demand from local installers, building owners and EPCs, the team worked hard to adapt their system to meet French standards. Several panel types are already certified,  more will follow based on installer input.
With this milestone, thousands of non-residential rooftops in France can now be put to work for the energy transition. 🙌
